March 2009
Providing Feedback and Direction

Managing people effectively is a tough job under normal circumstances. During the type of economy that we are facing right now, it’s especially challenging. Instead of being their usual focused and productive selves, direct reports are increasingly nervous, concerned, and cautious. TO OUR AUSTRALIAN CLIENTS ...

March has shaped up to be a very exciting month for us - our Directors, Paul and Jakki Stapleton, have headed over to the USA to join the rest of the global Blanchard family at the annual "Week of Excellence". In 2009, we celebrate 30 years since Ken and Margie Blanchard started the company.

In addition to celebrating this major milestone, Paul is also working with the authors of a new program, called Leading People Through Change.

As we look around, it is very evident that we in Australia are facing an enormous array of changes, from the impacts of the floods in Northern Queensland, to the Victorian Bushfires; from upcoming State Elections, to the "GEC". While it is true that many of these factors may be out of our direct control, it is critical that we as Leaders are able to predict and mange the effects that these changes are going to have on our organisations, teams, and the individuals with whom we work.

We are planning a very special launch of the Leading People Through Change program for Australia, so stay tuned!
