As the devastation of the Victorian bush fires becomes more evident, our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the intensity of this disaster.

We at Blanchard hold strongly the values that have driven our business for many years, and it has become evident to us as we conduct programs in the recent aftermath of the fires, that our clients also hold true to their values of supporting the needs of fellow Australians.

What pleased us greatly was a pharmaceutical client who on the Monday after the horrific weekend contacted the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne to offer their technical assistance with burns victims plus anything else they could do to help. And another where a finance industry client pulled together resources to help the RSPCA in its response to the fires, and their enormous job of caring for so many injured pets and wildlife, they too left homeless. 

We thank the Australian Red Cross and the Salvation Army along with the many emergency workers and volunteers who have responded in this time of need. And to any of you who may not have been mentioned, but have given your support.
